Tina thought she had found her “happily ever after” when she eloped with her high school sweetheart, Richard. But soon after, she realized the painful truth. When Tina became pregnant, Richard reacted angrily, revealing his resentment. One day, he came home drunk and kicked her out, changing the locks and spreading false rumors that the baby wasn’t his.
Years passed, and Tina raised their son, Greg, alone. Greg grew into a hardworking young man who harbored anger toward his absent father. Eventually, Greg became successful and tracked Richard down, planning revenge.
Armed with a baseball bat, Greg drove to Richard’s home, only to find his father a broken man, poor and frail. Realizing revenge wasn’t worth it, Greg instead bought Richard’s house, forcing him to confront his past. Greg and Tina watched Richard leave in shame, echoing the words Richard had once cruelly said to Tina: “If I see you again, we’ll have a problem.”
